I wanted a very large umbrella. It is for use in company where I have to shield other peoe from rain. So far very good. Well made and although I have had it only few weeks it is well worth the money.

Now have two - one ordered months ago, slightly smaller in diameter than the latest one I ordered, and this one is great. Both Falcone brollies sturdy, well made and good value - just what I was looking for. Good in windy weather and large canopy certainly keeps the rain off. Large enough to keep more than one person dry. Glad I bought them.

Works very well - 90% of the time. It sometimes fails to lock open?!?

Hi, I've just taken a look at the type of catch this umbrella has and it has a push catch. Please make sure you are not holding down the close button when sliding the pusher up the shaft. Place your thumb and finger to the side of the button and push up to open... the pusher will then slide over the metal catch and hold. Hope this helps.
