Galleria Art Print Reverse Opening Umbrella

This is a beautiful Galleria Art Umbrella, featuring a delightful Butterflies and Bluebells design. This features an inner and outer pongee canopy, with a reverse close mechanism. Simply push the button and manually pull the umbrella to you to close. This unique reverse-close technology makes it easy to get in and out of your car or house door without getting drenched! As a result of its unique design, the Galleria Reverse Close umbrella closes while keeping you dry from the elements. This umbrella's double canopy construction also makes this a sturdier umbrella on windy days, aided by vented holes on the underside canopy. Extra-strong fibreglass ribs between the covers allows for a snag-free, easy to use umbrella.

The brolly broke the first time we used it. Pity as the colours are very beautiful and it was a birthday present for my partner . One gust of wind did it - inside out and broke a spoke. I thought they were supposed to be wind proof and was bought on that basis at well above standard prices for brollies.
Are any brollies wind proof? I remain to be convinced.

Hi there, This umbrella is indeed a beautiful umbrella but we don't advertise it as a windproof umbrella and certainly not storm proof like the winds we have just experienced here in the UK. It is indeed a strong umbrella and has many features to hold up to winds so it must have been quite a gust of wind to blow it inside out and break a rib. No umbrella is indestructible, but the closest one we have to this is the Blunt Umbrella, have a wee look as the engineering design behind them as it's very interesting. I will email you directly about your damaged umbrella - Brolliesgalore.
