With summer now drawing (sadly) to a close. Actually, did we even have a summer in the UK? It is time to think towards colder and wetter weather. Yes, I know, it’s not a fun thought, but with the schools now back, and the nights starting to draw in, the weather is also starting to change. So we can expect much more frequent rainfall as we enter the Autumn months.
So, with this in mind, over the next few blog posts we will take a look at these new designs! Something otherwise cheery to brighten up those soggy autumn days. New design for Autumn 2012. The Lily Birdcage Umbrella is a domed PVC see-through umbrella to cover head and shoulders by Fulton Umbrellas. Patented extended runner for ease of opening and closing. Deep transparent PVC cover for ease of vision when walking. Manual frame, 8 ribs. This season’s must have floral design.

Waxed Cotton and Bamboo Parasol 82cm – Flower Design
Beautiful Traditional Thai waxed cotton and bamboo parasol with Flower Design. The cover is made from heavy cotton which has a waxy laquered coating to make it WATERPROOF. These parasols are therefore great as summer sunshades as well as rain umbrellas.
They have a white cotton drawstring carry bag included in the price.
This parasol is 82cm in diameter and has a 67cm bamboo stem with a carved wooden handle and weigh approx 496g. The top is decorated with a carved wooden finial. Both the handle and finial are made with sustainably grown wood, the stem and spokes are made traditionally of Bamboo and the spokes are hand cut, strung and woven together with cotton thread.
